Below is a short guide to some of these services
Drylining usually consists of Metal studding fixed to the interior side of an external wall.
Insulation can then be placed between the studs.
Sometimes a vapour barrier membrane is then fixed to the face of the insulation/studs and joints sealed with tape for air tightness and to prevent cold bridging.
Often then the next layer of plasterboard or insulated plasterboard is fixed to the studs
making it ready to receive a tape/joint or skimcoat finish.
Alternatively, you may fix plasterboad to walls using the dabbing technique using a
gyproc bonding compound.
You may also fix insulated plasterboard slabs directly to the wall using Insulation fixings
